The International Federation of Football History & Statistics, an organization that ranks the top football players, clubs and national teams has declared Neymar the 2nd top scorer for 2012 having scored 16 goals thus far. The list of top scorers for this year was released on September 23, 2012. The list consists of 61 players and Leo Messi is leading with 19 goals.

The survey is based on performances in international and intercontinental games played in 2012.


The Reason Why Neymar Didn't Play Today

Neymar did not attend the game this Saturday night on September 22nd, 2012. The reason being that he had received a yellow card in the last game against Coritiba for having an extended celebration, which was Neymar's third yellow card.
