Neymar has conquered America with his goals and dribbles. This is the second time he has been crowned the king after winning the title in 2011.

The Santos strike was voted King in the 26th edition of the traditional continental football poll, organized by the Uruguayan newspaper El País. He receive 199 votes out of the 438 journalists who participated in the election. The Corinthians Guerrero, who helped the team from winning the world club, appears in second place with 50 votes.


Neymar Jr. To Play in Match Against Poverty

On Wednesday, December 19th, Neymar Jr. will be Ronaldo's guest at the Match Against Poverty. This will be Neymar's first appearance in the 10th edition of the game that brings together superstars from all over the world. It is an initiative of the United Nations Development Programme(UNDP) in order to combat poverty. The tickets have nearly sold out seeing as Neymar Jr, Bebeto, Lucas, Romario, Riquelme, Karembeu will be part of Ronaldo's team.


Neymar Jr. is Among the Puskás Award Finalists

FIFA announced on Thursday, November 29th, the three names of the Puskás Award finalists and among them Neymar Jr competes alongside Falcao Garcia and Miroslav Stoch for the best goal of 2012. Neymar is the only Brazilian representative among the finalist.

The Puskás Awards is an annual celebration of the greatest goals of the year. It was initially established in 2009 and the first winner was Cristiano Ronaldo after an amazing goal he scored with Manchester United against Porto.

Neymar Jr has hired Loducca, and advertising agency to create new logo for his brand. Thus reinforcing his identity with football. According to Celso Loducca, the President of Loducca, "A good image caused by the attributes represented in the visual identity are the decisive factors in the success of a company."

Loducca goes on to further explain how there is a hidden number 11 in the logo.

Neymar Scores 2 Against Japan

Brazil VS Japan Neymar Jr

In a friendly match in Poland, Brazil beat Japan 4 - 0. Two of those goals were scored by Neymar da Silva.

Brazil came out with a full force and scored in the 12th minute. It was midfielder Paulinho who scored from outside the box to the right corner of goalkeeper Kawashima making it Brazil 1 - Japan 0.
