What looked to be the drama of the summer will end before the transfer window even opens, but still the final outcome is unknown. This morning, after several hours of negotiations in Vila Belmiro, the Santos made it official that they had received two bids (from Barcelona and Real Madrid) and both were accepted, leaving the last word to the player himself.

Neymar Jr's father was at the meeting for half an hour and upon leaving he told the media that he would not frown upon the decision his son makes if the Santos believed it appropriate.

With 46 goals scored in the Campeonato Paulista, Neymar Jr. is on the list of the greatest scorers in the history of the Santos team. He is the only athlete in football club in activity that is between these 21 players on the list. In a survey done by the "Centre of Memory and Statistics" Santos FC striker appears in the 19th position with 46 goals scored. Even NJR exceeded a big idol of the fans of Santos, midfielder Giovanni who scored 44 goals in his spell at Santos. In 1st place is Pelé, with 447 goals.

Today marks Neymar Jr's 21st birthday! At just 21 and with four years as a professional player, Neymar has scored 161 goals and won 9 titles. This is triple the amount of goals that Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo scored at that same age. At 21, Messi had scored 53 times and won 5 titles. Ronaldo had scored 34 goals and 3 titles.
